Hi everyone! Long time no makeup tutorial! This tutorial for a blue & silver prom/graduation look was requested by lilasianheart. This is a talking tutorial, not a voiceover, so sorry about the long video! I like to ramble. =P Do you guys prefer talking tutorials or voiceovers? Please let me know in the comments below!

If your dress isn't blue, you can always use the color of your dress as the main color and still smoke it out with a gray eyeshadow like I did. Purples, greens, and pinks look great with gray also! You can also smoke it out with another color (if you don't want to use gray) that compliments your main color, or you can use a color that is close to your skintone.

Hope you enjoy this tutorial!! Congrats to everyone who is graduating this year! ;D

  • @lilxaznxshortie you're welcome! i hope u had the time of your life at your prom! =D

  • aww your soo pretty. can you do one for a red dress ? I have like no idea what to do. I'm a n00b at makeup.

  • @meganesque i would say for a red dress, u should go with neutral makeup. i think slightly shimmery shadows would look nice, if u're a fan of shimmer. using red shadow might be a little too much for prom. i have a "ulzzang inspired transformation" makeup tutorial that i think u might be able to use. =)

  • pretty!!

  • I have a blue dress for prom too, and I wasn't sure how I should do the makeup for it since I have absolutely no makeup skills whatsoever. But this was really helpful! Thanks! :)

  • I LOVE YOU NOW you gave me HOPE =)

i have this friend who said "No offense but i think there wouldn't be any type of make up that woul suit you." (it really hurt me when she said that, considering she's a close friend of mine :P)

All because i got monolids and people who put makeup on me make my face look all flat and round and when they put makeup on my eyes it just looks like they dabbed on 1 color.,.,

(im not really good at putting makeup on myself either) so THANK YOU! i'll now try again

  • I finally found what I have been looking for!yey for that :D

  • I'm in fifth going into sixth grade and I have a turqouise dress. Do you think you could do a cotillion makeup tutorial for turqouise dresses for sixth graders? You would be a life saver!

  • thank yuu just what I'm looking for !!

  • When you lined your bottom lash line, did you use the gel liner or a pencil? Can you get the same results if you use pencil?
