SourcesAreEverything: It is not the Republicans that are MANDATING all Americans to buy Insurance nor are they the ones stating that the MANDATES will start three to four years before the majority of the benefits go into effect. It is not the Repubs that are saying that they are going to pay for the new EXCHANGE by using the $500 billion cuts in MediCare while at the same time that same $500 billion will be used to keep Medicare solvent. That is counting the money twice. You can't have both.

MissMoxie78: If this is such a Great Bill, then why wasn't it past last year when there was a super majority of Democrats and why are Democrats still holding it up? Why aren't Dems running to vote on this Bill right now? Further, this whole Bill is a farce. There can never be a correct CBO score on this Bill because the $210 billion Doctor's fix is not included. The Doctor's Fix was passed outside of the HC Bill and was passed without giving a method to pay for it. So much for PAYGO.

Sources: If this Health Care Bill is so fantastic, then why wasn't it passed last year when there was a super majority? What is sad is that the people that are expecting to receive health care as soon as the Bill is passed. This time next year, when people realize that they are still have at least three years before the majority of the benefits kick in, there is going to be a major outcry for relief. That is cruel.
