@dreadrath ah yes, those "stupid" Americans and their Internet, computers, space program, Ivy League Universities, and far too numerous to mention discoveries in virtually every field from medicine to I.T.
If anything, we should be calling the Arabs and the Africans "stupid", given the state their regions are in and how little they're contributing to the world nowadays.
But that wouldn't be politically correct (even though it's true), would it.

@aussieNickuss I agree with the main point you're making, but I must highlight the fact that there's a big difference between "stupid people" and "people who don't give a shit about politics."
Take the recent election for example, it's like (south park reference:) voting between a "giant douche and a turd sandwich." While at the time I'd rather Abbott didn't win (as he didn't), I couldn't care for Gillard either.

@aussieNickuss actually a donkey vote counts as a vote as it is still technically a valid vote. its just where they number it from 1 consequentially downward so it is still formal. and lol at people who think that all young people dont know what they are talking about, i'm 17 and i know more than the average Australian about our political system. dont believe me, test me if you will.

You don't have to be less than 50 to be a dumbass.....stupidity inflicts people of all ages. The good thing about stupid people though is that when they vote, they usually just donkey it, so its not counted.
