@diacony You showed a little bit of what you "know/can", and I was commenting on that. You on the other hand have no grounds to call me a "malitious interpreter", for you have no evidence of my abilities. Because of my career I am a trained language specialist, which allows me to make qualified remarks on language use. That's what careers are for. Of course I'm far from perfect, who isn't, and if you read my comments, I never called you out on your language use per se. This is about attitude.
-
@diacony That is what unsettled me. I'm sorry If you can't see the arrogance in your previous comments about the Greek and about your language "knowledge". I'm pretty sure it is obvious to most the others, as someone else already pointed it out before me. And as you said yourself, I am allowed to express my opinion, just like everyone else. If you can't take the criticism, maybe you should reconsider exposing yourself like that.
-
@diacony If you read through my comments again, you will see that I never said you couldn't say whatever you wanted, sir. I never said people needed my permission to do it, either. It never was about (my) appreciation. By "judging" I was only referring to the fact that I am very well capable to see whether someone uses a language I know sufficiently well correctly or not. I was merely pointing out your arrogance ...

.what nonsense u talk! u dont pretend some respect. firstly, u have to gain it and honestly u seem to be frustated, hilarious at once...if u put forward u career, then be aware of the fact that nowdays, anyone is free to express its own thoughts and statements in every chosen language without asking your permission and more then that, waiting of suggestion and appreciation to come out from a malitious interpreter. go in a court, if u are able to judge people mistakes. that may be so.
-
@diacony ... I'm saying this because it really pisses me off to see attitudes like yours. It is people like you that ruin my profession, making others believe that what they do is good. Ridiculous. Have some respect, man.
-
@diacony You are so full of yourself. If your mistakes had been spelling mistakes I wouldn't have said anything. But you got some serious grammar problems going on, and dude, if it shows in your writing you can't be that good at it when you speak, since you have even less time to think about what you're going to say. Don't try calling me envious, I DO speak 4 languages fluently, it is what I do, I am a professional interpreter, so I do have the expertise to judge what I've seen from you.
-
envious one! right, fluent speaker has nothing to do with writing...
-
@diacony you made some very, veryy bad mistakes in French and German - my mothertongues (I'm bilingual)! Maybe you should go to a language class before you call yourself a fluent speaker ;) no offense, I just wanted to be helpful :) I know, my English isn't good at all, so we all have our weakness :)
---> I loove that song :)
