Hippy and Healthy - Allison McGevna

Allison has been modeling for years, beginning her career as a child model for runway shows at Bloomingdales. Born to an Irish father and a West Indian mother, her mixed ethnicity and culture gives her a unique look and an unmatched versatility that she began employing even in her youth.

During her adolescence, she developed her skills in front of the camera, auditioning for shows, acting in local productions and working as a teen runway model. In 2001, she took the university style circuit by storm, often working as the sole plus model in several runway shows and even taking her turn at producing one of Rutgers' biggest annual fashion shows.

After she graduated with high honors from Rutgers University, Allison took a brief hiatus from modeling to pursue her Masters Degree from Northwestern University in American history.
