As Head Judge of this category, I made sure to assign each judge to a MEP that they had absolutely no part of, belonging-to, or relation with either the studio or the video itself.

Each MEP was assigned three judges, scoring out of 100. The average of the three scores were used to represent each MEP in the final standing against the others. The five with the highest marks made it into this video, and the one with the highest mark of all wins the competition.

This category took a lot of organizing and planning, as did the entire competition. I want to thank my judges for this category who were very active and eager, and did not delay in sending me their scores. I also want to thank Mazza (Tears0fAnAngel) for coming up with this brilliant idea for a competition, and enduring my many suggestions and thoughts on the way things would work.

I think MEP's are a beautiful thing. Multiple Editor Projects - they bring us together in the world of the Internet. Despite many of us never meeting face to face, the ability to work together on this level, to create something as a team, gives hope for humanity, I think.

Every MEP entered into this competition deserved to be here. I got to see amazing videos I had never seen before, ones that deserve far more recognition than they have. I hope that next year, when this competition runs again, that there will be even more entries into this category. There are many MEPs out there. To find the ONE that stands out above all the rest in a time limit of one year, is a journey worth taking.

For those who did not make it into the top five, don't feel bad! The scoring was actually REALLY close. So dont lose heart. The MEPs were phenominal, so try again next year!

I saw Awakening by Alexander's secret and thought "They so won this" and then right after that was Legacy of the crystal, and I was like "....crap." XD hahaha
