  • @DxVisceral Totally agree. I just watched that short and feel the same way about it that these two guys feel about Cash and Carry: a flat-out masterpiece that I would like to give 4s in all categories and is a great film from the era, not just a great Stooge film.

Obviously I now need to watch Cash & Carry myself, as I haven't seen it since I was a kid.

  • I can't wait till you guys reach A Gem of a Jam... man what a classic that was. The fluoroscope scene was priceless.

  • Walla Walla with an X. Hahahahaha

  • I had a similar experience as you guys as of late. I've always liked this short, but never considered it one of the greats until my last viewing. The story is as close to Chaplin as The Three Stooges get and there is absolute classic slapstick thrown in. The Stooges with tools is always a great thing.

The fact that they give so much effort to help the crippled boy and his sister even though they are poor themselves make their characters so likeable in this one.

Nice job on this one guys.

  • another great review! I wonder if Cash and Carry will end up being the best Stooges film ever? I haven't seen it in forever but need to go see it now!
