  • Cool find for sure but that's a nasty cave to stay in. You brought up some good points. Especially the fact that a good survival shelter has all the same characteristics as a good hide. I've waited out storms in caves here in Brazil up in the mountains. Here caves can be nice and dry but they usually funnel the wind so they can be very cold especially in winter.

  • Good point on the fact that the rocks can thermocrack.

  • Cool cave Tony!! I might add that sometimes caves make good natural water caches if you're looking for a drink. Definitely want to purfiy though, all kinds of critters do nasty things in cave water. Good vid!!

  • Cool cave Tony. Great Info!! Might I add also that sometimes caves can be good places to look for water. Sometimes they act as natural caches for water collection. Make sure you treat any cave water though, lots of critter do nasty things in cave water. Thanks Tony!!
