A word of advice, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL while you're messing around with any kind of camera with flash, the flash capacitor stores a lot of energy (More than 300V /!\ HIGH VOLTAGE ).
It took me just one shock with a HP camera to learn this, after that i disassembled my camera a lot of times and no accident since.
First of all, locate the dangerous parts (big flash capacitor and their associated circuits) and don't work near it.
And don't try to short-circuit discharge the capacitor.
i can also do this , but overall this is very good
