I love the way Toby reads Will's speech and immediately recognizes him as a peer and opens up to him. That is acting!

Im a huge WW fan, but it was kind of sad that Lowe left, because Sam was much more interesting a character, and certainly a better actor. That being said, love all the seasons of the west wing, and love Toby!

does anyone know why Will's sister Winnie never became a regular character on the show? It seems as if they were setting her up for that in a number of scenes, this one included..

The classic responses of an over-worked perfectionist. The man or woman who sits in his/her office and continually stares at a document/monitor without producing a thought. Their expectations in themselves is too high while their energy reserves are depleted. They know what 'awesome work' looks like and they have the experience to know that they can't reach it due to their fatique. More common than anyone really knows.
