The 80s were a better place in time compared to today. Here is a functional family enjoying time together while getting chores done. They were too busy enjoying life to worry about seat belts, cholesterol, or fashion.

Oh to be back in the 80's again. Good times

I owned a 1982 Dodge Aries Station Wagon, exactly like this one, even down to the same color. Boy, there is no greater chick magnet than a brown used Aries wagon. It was destroyed by a hit skip truck.

Or, mid 80's when I was young and single, when skirts were short, heels were high, and hair was tall! Fun era, great memories.

@webmanc i agree with you partly. the world functions at a far greater rate of speed now, but we live longer, have lower food prices, enormous strides in health care, and so on. i loved the 80s too, great memories, but we're better off today.

@landyachtfan79 It is an 81. 81s were the only Ks to have operational rear door vent windows, which this sedan cleary has.
-
@IstvanN1961 '87.

The 1981 Ks did not have roll down rear door windows. Chrysler fixed that booboo for 1982. Unlike GM which saddled their A/G body RWD intermediates with fixed rear door windows for the entire run (1978 to 1986).
