In Touch 4.1 :) Finally we got a recording of this song with decent sound! Song #1 of a 3 song set at Metro SDA, Hyattsville MD. Our first time there since March 2007! This song was originally recorded by "A Special Blend" (Lori Bryan, Mervyn Warren - (former member of Take 6), Joya Foster, Mark Kibble (of Take 6) and Claude McKnight III (of Take 6) on the album "No Where But Up". Lead vocals here by Christie Dashiell (also of Afro Blue).

  • the young landy and gentlemen on the end towards the left look a lot like memebers of Afro Blue who were on a singing contest this past season on channel 5

  • when i was a member of the univ of md gospel choir, richard smallwood was our director and he taught this arrangement or a similiar arrangement to us, and all this time i thought it was a walkter/edwin hawkins' arrangement, hmmmn, i wonder why i thought that, lol.......this clip brings back some wonderful memories.
