Ukrainian female harmony music, from 1960s Canadian recordings.
1) The Breeze Waltz (The Rustling Grove /Oy Divchino Shumit Hiy) - by The Werchowina Trio of Toronto. The fellow wants to marry, the girl wonders if they'll have a house of their own. Comparable to The Chordettes. This is not doowopp. It's boom-zing-zing.
2) Helen (Halia) - a girl is taken by Kozaks. By The Ukrainian Sweethearts of Winnipeg - Dolores Mattreck and Anne Sicz.
3) Perhaps It's Not Right - by the duet of Oksana Bluy and Zenia Kotysh of Montreal. Composed by J.B.Weselowsky.
My parents have this LP at home.
