@likeOMGitsUNLTD Not all volume punchers get knockouts, Paulie Malinaggi throws a lot of punches on the inside but he has a shit KO %, Bradley has a 45 % KO record, lamont Peterson has a 50% lol the list goes on, and then look at Donaire and Mayweather, not immensely powerful but these guys have wonderful footwork, great ring generalship and a knack of forcing opponents to walk onto shots, something way more valuable than power in my eyes!! Boxing has little to do with power and volume

Margarito KO'd just over half of his opponents, 55% i think, that aint a great KO ratio!! And i would consider Margarito a volume puncher, i.e. someone who throws lots of shots on the inside, many of them meaningless and inaccurate.. altho there is different types of volume punchers, salido is similar to margarito and then theres the khan, pacquiao, gamboa type!!

@mAdNeL04 i think Mosley is one of the hardest hitting welterweights, more than cotto margarito and pacquiao. he just has trouble landing his big punches against fighters that move their heads like Cotto Pacman and Floyd. as strong of a chin Margarito has he knocked him out while landing less punches than Cotto and Pacquiao who had more success landing but no so much in actually hurting

@danhantheman that doesn't make sense. volume punchers get knockouts but not as many as margarito has in his career. and it just hit me that maybe margarito puts pressure on fighters because being hit by cement fucking hurts! would you want to trade shots when youre being hit with shots that feel like a sledgehammer?
