This video is of a couple of experiments using permanent magnets.
Part 1 is a part of a permanent magnet motor I'm attempting to build (it's not finished) and shows the flux gradient in an entertaining and clear way.

Part 2 shows how a bolt channeling magnet flux through it creates a unique interaction with another magnet of the same polarity. There is a very subtle "sweet spot" between magnetic repulsion of the like North-North magnetic poles and attraction between the magnet pole and the steel bolt extending the flux from the magnets attached to the other end. I find it interesting because it is a very fine line that perhaps could be exploited in a permanent magnet motor in some way.

  • whats the music you put in the vid i love it

  • @AngelSpawn2407 It's at the bottom of the video description. :?)

  • dude !!.. you are into something.... did you try to complete a full circle arrangement of the magnet ? if you did, the magnet will continue spinning forever and you'll get a "Zero point energy "device right there.

  • @lustatus Watch the beginning again and see why it's doing this, then you'll see why a full circle in this way won't work. Keep searching though!

  • @wjbombo what if the circle was spinning at a rate fast enough to prevent the magnet from catching up?

  • @deepfreeze202 Then you would have a magnetic gear essentially.

  • @Gabe5748 - i did think into the same concept of repelling magnets instead of shock absorbers on bikes...

  • can somebody please tell me what kind of magnets these are and what the spacing was??

    thanks!

  • Very interesting, one of these days someone is going to crack the magnetic flux gate problem and this should open the floodgates for true free power, experimenting myself at the moment with microwave magnets, these are normally free and strong, can,t let anyone up my loft with a pacemaker as there are so many up there, will post any posotive results up on you tube, could you also let me know where you bought the field indicator, regards Doc Cox

  • You seem to know a lot about magnets. Any idea if they could support the weight of a car, as a spring?

  • somebody please pm me the science.

  • nice vid about magnets
