Performed by the acclaimed Kronos Quartet, "Awakening" is a musical meditation on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Focused on the theme that we are all part of one world community, the evening features music from eleven nations and will include a guest appearance by the International Children's Choir. By turns passionate and reflective, "Awakening" offers music to restore "equilibrium in the midst of imbalance" and will serve as the centerpiece to a major dialogue about political and cultural changes as a result of the events of that tragic day.
