@PivotPoi That Simpson episode he was on was a crossover that aired around the time that The Critic moved from ABC to FOX (and an episode that Matt Groening hated because he didn't want his precious yellow family to be tainted by something infinitely better, which is why his name is omitted from the credits for "A Star is Burns")
