Agreed. I miss the 80s and even some of the 90s music. Top 40 was so catchy and diverse back then. Pop, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, New Wave, Dance, R&B, Soul. It was all good and there was something for everyone. Now, its just constant hip hop crap, diva droning, and teenybopper nonsense. Poor kids today don't understand harmonies, playing w/real instruments (sorry Rockband doesn't count), or keeping things subtle and smut-free. I'm so happy to have grown up in the time that I did. Screw the 2000s.
