Expedition Africa 2009: Construction begins on the girls dormitory

Through reality learning and the use of advanced technology, Small World Big Picture (SWBP) projects target Canadians, particularly the youth, through the internet, their schools, and mainstream media to allow them, their teachers and families to fully understand the challenges and opportunities facing Canada and our world.

On Monday, July 6th, 2009, participants from the Ottawa area will embark on the journey up Kilimanjaro. You can learn more about the climbers in the Meet the Teams section of the website, and follow their blogs as they climb Africas tallest mountain.
