what volume should i have the Samson C01U at when recording rapping or singing

@ChiTownSoja that completely depends on you... Since I naturally speak loudly, i keep it low... For rapping, you will need to experiment with it on both recorded and published. Record the vocal on computer #1. Then, you need to hear the finished recording on another computer to make sure that the sound is not too loud or too soft. Whatever you hear on computer #2 for playback is what you will be selling.

Thank you SO much for this vid (and part 1, obviously); I recently brought my comp into the shop to get some problems repaired, and in the process, apparently a good chunk of my drivers etc. got reset, and my C01U SoftPre was among the victims. It worked just fine before when I installed the software off the CD, but I have no idea where the CD went, and it's not on the site anymore, so I was screwed for a bit there. It's working perfectly now. Again, thank you very much; you're a life-saver.

I just intalled the software for Samson C01U in my windows 7 and I cannot find the USB Audi device in Sounds,video, and game controllers. I am desperated with this. Any idea?
