NFL - 1980 MNF New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins (The John Lennon Game) [2/2]

Uploading this mainly because this was the first place John Lennon's death was announced. This game is a classic and shows a time where the Dolphins were supposed to blow out the Patriots, not the other way around.. This was actually a suprisingly close game, The Dolphins, despite there average season they were having and despite the Pats better record, Miami was supposed to knock New England out. This game turns out to be a very close Overtime thriller.

BTW RIP John Lennon... Imagine what it would be like if you were still here,,,,

I remember watching this game rooting for Miami because New England was chasing the Bills in the standings. The Bills eventually won the division.

My mother was watching this game for me hpoing to give mr good news. Instead it was the most devestating night of her life when Howard issued the news of the death of John Lennon.
