Alan was performing dances of all Caucasus nationalities.I remember Alla Dsgoeva was dancing even Indian ,Jipcy , tarantella and so on.

But this is really not Osetian  and i don't care for. Seems very convulsive for my taste

Not Ossetian dance. It is moves and music(stile) of vainahs(chechens,ingushs,basbi­) and some haghmount georgens(tushins, hevsurs, mohevi,mtiuli,kazbegi). It dance is in program of every ansambles and call him "highmount dance".

btw, this is an Ossetian dance also. Ossetians call it as Rog Kaft.

This dance does not have anything to do with alans or oss:)it is mix of Chechen and Kazbeguri. Stick to Simd and Honga, which are also the great dances :)
