Such is her life! Even after she plays this the Millionth time. "Nothing's ever perfect". That's the Beauty & TRUTH of Life Exactly! ;)

A few gifted artists are born w/ a connection to the source of creativity itself. They're like a conduit for creative passion & energy. Not under their control, so it's either on of off, never better or worse. But her technique will always change & get better w/ experience!
Life is full of variables, that we adjusted throughout life, by what happens to us moment to moment. That's why we can listen to the same recording & it's always different!

=D I think it's pretty ridiculous to say that an artist can't mature over a course of a lifetime, that at 10 years of age they've played as well as they ever will! Not to say that I find this performance lacking, but NOTHING's ever perfect. I would love hear her play at a later age because if she plays this passionately now, imagine what a lifetime of experience could do for her playing!

Well Bach is very plain. At least on the surface & that's if you're unaware of the intricacies of his music. Particularly the 3rd movement. Where the Conductor, 1st Chair Violinist & pianist timings are so intricately intertwined!
But I'm more a fan of Yoon A In's & not so much Bach. If you listen to her play Chopin Piano Concerto No 2, 2nd mov at age 10 & can tell me she'll play any better or w/ more emotion at age 18 or 60, then that's just becomes your choice! :D

Well, that to u...i DInt say her play is bad ...her play is perfect ...and I feel that she still lack of sthg ...it is kind of plain...

This is the kind of emotional connection I both hear and see. That doesn't depend on YOUR interpretation or emotional understanding of the piece. That she does at a deeper level than even she is aware of!
That's apparent in the way she moves so gracefully unrehearsed about the keys, that belie her youth reveal the mature soul of the artist in her music.
It takes absolutely no mental age or depth of understanding to comprehend music this way at any age!
...and AT THIS SHE IS SUPERB!
Bravo! And bravo!
