I've been uploading a large amount of speedpaints recently, haven't I? xD I promise that'll change soon. You'll have your animation.

Oddly enough, this wasn't supposed to be my 50 subs vid, but what I was planning to post when I got 50 subscribers isn't ready yet - my current MEP part is taking up all of my time. Now I'm hoping to post my original 50 subs vid (something for my animated series; I don't know if it's an opening or an AMV, really xD ) as an end-of-summer video. Hnh. Cross your fingers.

Now, information about this piece of art~

The cat is one of my lesser fursonas, Whitelily. I have three fursonas - you've seen Ever already, and my avatar thing used to be Hawkfire, my third fursona. Basically, Whitelily is my quiet, shy, introverted, philosophical, imaginative, artistic, slightly angsty side; Hawkfire is my random, hyper, irresponsible, social, brave, goofy, outspoken side; and Ever is my clever, sarcastic, critical, literary, scheming, Internet-loving side. AND THIS IS WHITELILY. xD

About 50% of this picture was inspired by the last song on this speedpaint, about 25% was inspired by a movie I saw pretty recently, and the remaining 25% came out of my own head. In case you were curious, this picture does have a deeper meaning for me than a lot of my artwork; it is a tribute of sorts. Let's just say that I'm a pretty avid fan of a lot of things, and I take book and movie characters and relationships to heart.

Anyways, hope you liked this. I need to go practice my sea-drawing technique. xP
