I guess you are Picasso able to decide what is art and what not. Writing and Stenciling are two different things. Its like you would advice a Basketballplayer to play soccer, because you are not a fan of basketball. Both are different things and are dedicated to other groups. Writers try to get fame in their own Writing-Scene, while Streetartists try to adress their pictures to casual people, who cant understand the writinglanguage. thats why streetart is more tolerated in society than graffiti.

graff is not art it is vandalism. dont get it mixed. Its not about whats tolerated by society, its fuck society.

i think that graffiti is art and vandalism too
and there are writers who try to express themselves with graffiti, while others just make a tag to get fame or what so ever
and fucking society is also able with streetart...otherwise you wouldnt get arrested for both of them
