  • Such ill-tempered language and level of debate is far away from Buddhism. Unless we are in a historical debate, it doesn’t matter the place Siddhartha was born. It is also unimportant if a country is inherently Buddhist or adopted Buddhism afterwards, unless your primary intention is to speak against that country. May peace and calm prevail.

  • fuck u...what u know about buddha??? buddha was born in a independent kingdom Lumbini which was by no means a part of india at that time or even now...Lumbini is now a part of Nepal, which we often call himalayan kingdom.,,

  • he was born near lambini, napal which is in the foothills of the himalaya just to clear that up.

  • Buddha was NOT from the Himalayas! He was from the plains of North India...this will give the typical misperception that Buddhism is an "inherently Chinese" religion!
