Sweet kit, but personally I'd rather have the Sonor kit in the background.

The kick drum seems to be tuned tightly. All I'd ever heard about Bonham is that his kick drum was really lose, like a wet blanket. The outside one tuned high but the batter side tuned loose just to the point of taking the wrinkles out of the head.

@RyanDiamond100 -- actually he did use a double bass for awhile -- Jimmy hid it from him though because he couldn't keep up with any of the shit that he was doing on it. Nothing recorded, just wanted to dispell the myth that John never used a double bass.

I don't get why people think a drummer is great because they use double bass >:(
Bonham- in ways- was great because he didn't use double bass, and had that incomparable stly of his own.
