i was a sophmore last yr at cedar hill when mason played an i also practice/played with him i have never seen a dude his size had such a burst going through the gut .Mason hayes was the best tail back cedar hill ever had.mason he had alot of upper body strenght so u couldnt tackle him up top.but he also had powerful massive thighs so u couldnt cut him he was a unstoppable force a freak of nature on the gridiron

forget all the hatin goin on on other comments THE BOY IS FAST!! i played against him this year u have to see some that speed up close and in person and you'll know. really think about it he's playin in texas 5A football out running kansas commited safety ray mitchell who runs a 4.3!! if thats not enough for you u jus not gonna get it till u play em yourself!!

This guy Mason Hayes has been like this his whole life i mean i played with him in pee-wee ball, he's always been a heavy runer look at how many players its talking to get him down you say "break more tackles" what are you saying break all 11 tackles ?

I wish the coaches at CedarHill would have given me his game tape, I would have added plays that showed his strength, because I know against my team Euless Trinity he ran very physically.

@BigTex131 So during his Senior year, he split time at RB?

His acceleration was impressive for size, but all I'm saying is that in order to succeed at higher levels of competition, he needs to break more tackles instead of trying to beat the defender to sidelines. Defensive players are much faster in college. I'm not hating, I'm just saying it will be better for him to learn this before season starts.
