KISS Alive was not totally live. All of the vocals were done in the studio as was Peters Drum solo. As far as the vocals on Detroit Rock City This was shown on tv and Paul went in redid his vocals for this one. I have seen the original concert that this is from and his vocals are different

@romeokid69 all the live kiss albums were recorded live, none were done in the studio..kiss MIXED live concerts in the studio to adjust vocals, lead guitar and other things that got drowned. they fixed string breaks and the odd wrong note, but 99 percent was from the live show. they even mixed the audience noise so that when you played the record loud in your room it felt like you were there.. all bands do this, welcome to the real world looser !!
