@18PacWest You are wrong. He lost his engine a couple of laps earlier. And he was second and this time behind Zanardi who took over the lead during the pit stops.

When we clock back to 1997 at Elkhart Lake, Mark Blundell's engine let go on the final lap and handed the victory to Alessandro Zanardi.

its strange to see those big named cars blowing up like that.

Do you remember that the '97 Marlboro 500 winner Mark Blundell has blown his Merc engine and also Tony Kanaan.
Kenny Bräck had a problem with the throttle linkage and Montoya has blown his engine.
