Boeing 747 Tribute

A tribute to the great Boeing 747, used by most all major airlines such as KLM, Lufthansa, United Airlines, British Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Qantas, KAL, JAL, Cathay Pacific, South African Airlines etc.

The 747 is well known for its hump in up front for the upper deck.

The Boeing 747 is also known as the "Jumbo Jet" for its massive size.
The 747 is going to be replaced by the Airbus A380, which is another great aircraft that is newer. I still think the 747 will be spending some time around for a while :)

Well, it's up to you, they are both great airlines, Lufthansa is based at more airports and have more operating aircraft if that matters to you.

I would probably go with Lufthansa if I went.

Either way is a good choice!

Yeah, seems they've learnt pretty fast. They have been outselling Boeing over the past few years so they must be doing something right. The 747 is an iconic brand though and known the world over for excellence and reliability.

The Boeing 747 will always possess an aesthetic quality that the Airbus A380 does not. The A380 will not replace the B747 - especially with cargo operators.
