He's underrated, in my opinion, really because his lack of consistency. I know a lot of people enjoy his experimental stuff, but personally, I think he has some insane songs or even albums that he pulls out of a long line of...well not as good stuff. It's just the natural course of things when you produce so MUCH work, of course, there's gonna be a few flops and a few greats.
Of course, to him and most of his fans all of his songs are good, but I'm just sayin that's what blocks the "ratings" etc

@thepalmetto well, what some ppl use to call music some others just call it "comercial shit to get good money out of it " =D.. And I think they won't ever give feedback to his music cause , obviously music for them is just a money-making way , so they won't ever recognize this beautiful music as that cause only a song from this man could make they'r comercial garbage look just like that.. pure comercial shit =D

I don't think Buckethead will ever be rated in a top ten liste of best guitarist of all time, and I feel it is truly a tragedy to music. He is underrated and underappreciated.
