Classic Khmer song from Sinn Sisamouth, Ros Sereysothea, Pan Ron and Dara Dam Chan. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any images of Dara Dam Chan, so you will have to imagine her singing along. I used clips from the "Don't Think I've Forgotten" trailer to make the video.

  • He's flirting with her asking "Mou Pei Na"(Where you from?). She's playing hard to get & pretending like she doesn't like him or the attention. They're teasing/ flirting back & forth...alot of Khmer duet songs does this, but ONLY the Old School Khmer Rockers does it BEST!!!

  • Musics and singers from the pre war were the best, unlike nowday cambodian singers are sucks most of them,I don't know why they consider them as celiberty, even that guy Preap Sovat, he sucks and most of those songs are copy from Thai songs, what an ashame for us khmer.

    i see, ok, no problemo.

  • @pkving Ok. Sorry then! Actually I posted my comment on the same page, though I have no understanding of ANY SW Asian language at all, but whatever.

  • @BoojumMXX

it's just a joke. whenever kinhtoc posts a comment in a samouth-song page, he asks that some1 translates the song in2 english 4 him. so often that i came 2 believe that he pretends 2 not understand the khmer language. hence my joke.

  • @pkving the capitalist West has rotten you, comrade

if only a song in a language I know would interest someone abroad I would be pleased to write down the lyrics and thus to promote my culture

  • @KINHTOC

pay me 200 bucks & i'll write 4 ya the lyrics of this song in khmer & english!!

  • @GalahTown

    you're not a khmer, you're a cambodian!! ha haaaaaaaa!! d'ohh!!

  • Love it, love it, love it!! Wonderful singing, beautiful language (I'm very unfamiliar with Khmer), great horns, funky bouncy rhythm, oh I can't listen to it enough! I queue it up twice to make it longer, and the horns and the start and end merge nicely anyway. Or ... I queue it alone on repeat and listen to it again and again and again... how to say thanks in Khmer? Thanks to all the people trying to revive interest in this great music. I wonder how much interest there is in Cambodia?
