  • im so obsessed with linn....

  • @tideoftime about romantic languages....

  • @jmdg79 ? What, exactly, are you asking me? I don't understand what you are asking...

  • @tideoftime I am proud to speak spanish. One of the romantic languages. Have you hear about it?. Some of them are french, portuguese, italian, spanish and others.

  • Q recuerdos me trae esta cancion !!!

  • Молодца!

  • @tideoftime (continued) Many other languages in the world have more in common with each other, structurally, than they do with English (whether Brit-English, or American-English). It wasn't until I got into studying comparative languages in high school that I really saw how "weird" English, as a language, is compared to 95% of all languages spoken; it's great for concrete structuring (better than Japanese by a mile, comparatively), but as an applied language, idiosyncratic/counter-intuitive.

  • @drais02 As someone who has studied linquistics as a hobby for over 20 years, I can tell you most *emphatically* that English is a grammatical NIGHTMARE compared to most other languages; over a course of several years in linguistic studies, I have had many people from various countries/language groups (German, French, Chinese, -- Cantonese and Mandarin speaking, Japanese, Russian, and several Africans) all tell me the exact same thing: English is very tricky to master, for non-native speakers.
