Chain it or bury it!

I hate how they show pitts as the agressive dogs. Pitts are not bad dogs no matter what ppl say, owners are the cause not the dogs. I was bitten by a red nose pitt the owner tourtured the thing, my friend has a red nose pitt and shes the sweetest thing on earth shes 16 and she has never bitten anyone only licked them to death. Golden retreivers are on the top of the bite list so think a bout that. Gosh i hate stories like this,

I kinda don't agree with this.My dog isn't mean but if you attack like family or friends then she will attack. So what us that called being protective?!? Or being a bad dog?

The bottom line is any dog in the wrong hands can be dangerous. Breed specific legislation does nothing but drive a breed to extinction. Licencing has been proven with TV and Driving, that it does nothing but create revenue for government and can be avoided by the very people it is meant to target. Hit the irresponsible owner with heavy fines (off their benefits if necessary) and prison sentences. If the government puts through anything else, it is another attack on the law abiding tax payer.

A bill that is being put through by the Met Police, RSPCA and London Mayor sugests £100 yearly licence, breeds to be kept and more to be added and for those owners, regardless of how the dog is and how responsible they are, to be thrown in jail for five years. Is this fair or just another example of trying to rip off the working tax payer? Lets face it, if this happened, the responsible owner would pay, the scum would not. Once again a classic example of how government will cut above the root.

Just to clarify, pitbulls are not a breed, but a TYPE? If I bred a Lab and a bulldog, technically, that could be a pit type. Secondly, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that suggests a dog of any breed is genetically born aggressive. Thirdly, any dog, when given the environment to do so, can become dangerous. Finally, there are no such things as dangerous dogs, just dangerous owners. To demonise a breed, does not combat the root cause. The root cause is irresponsible owners.

Pit bulls should be killed and their owners thrown in jail.

It's kind of like that nature/nurture thing. We can train a pitbull to be good, but can we do anything about what pitbulls were bred to do!...

fucking pits
