@NinevehMetalChannel Yeah those "sylvia" transmissions are so hard to launch. Even though they have the same gear ratios as the KA trans, and almost the same as the 300zx VG trans. AWD will almost always launch better than RWD on the street and yes, it's because of traction. The reason most drag cars are RWD is because with massive slicks, there isn't a huge benefit to AWD and it is just more weight and complexity without any benefit.

@to those not knowing their facts. i personally have a 240sx and driven a tuned a4 and 321 awhp wrx. AWD will always have the start line launch better than any rwd car or fwd car . they do not slip making launching much easier and faster. think about this with logic you are getting pulled and pushed at the same time. with a rwd you have to push your whole mass to go straight.
