k but how is the wiimote connected? "my bluetooth places" wont let me connect without a code.

It's called, a power cord..

USB is rarely on the side.

lol on my laptop the power cord is on the back and the usb ports are on the sides. (im not saying this is fake ive done it before)

The pointing that is used by the Wii is using that sensor bar that is two InfraRed LED's to tell the Wiimote's InfraRed camera where the screen is.
For now you'd need to use the accelerometer in the Wiimote for some sort of feedback.
