Paul Gibson's a cappella choral setting of a beautiful love lyric from Marcia Falks translation of "The Song of Songs" was composed as a surprise wedding gift for his wife and premiered during their marriage ceremony. This recording comes from the CD "Paul Gibson: A Mass of Life" from G.I.A. Publications, featuring Dominic MacAller conducting Chorus Angelorum; the music is published by ECS Publications, Boston. Several of the photos in this slideshow were taken by Craig Kirk and used here by permission; see more of his work at flickr.com/photos/craiglkirk/. Visit PaulGibsonMusic.com for more about the composer. Full screen recommended for best effect.

  • Another great one, Paul! You've chosen some rather breathtaking images for this slideshow. And this piece must make Carol the luckiest woman on earth. Well done, friend!
