Look at those smug looks on their faces. Good intentions...but clueless idiots. They could have at least written the sign in Chinese.

Lucy Fairbrother and Iain Thom who were arrested in Beijing yesterday have arrived back in London. They were deported after waving pro-Tibet flags outside the Olympic stadium.

  • does not matter how many people are going to protest, china simply has too much money invested in tibet to just let it go free.

  • @qwertyyau

One that is not SUCH a deluded fool?

In my understanding of Budhism, the spirit is meant to reincarnte, not the personality. You will be gone forever until Nirvana. You will be a completely different being each time. That is why, because YOU are not inmortal, everything you do or say, every single action matters in this reality. That's why one should always speak and behave "right", because this is all we have.

And that might be why wastefuly dying is not the answer.

    My opinion only.

  • @MrIcePlaysSound, the GAIN is probably the same as the current US govn is on holding onto America, the Canadian govn is on holding onto Canada, Australian govn is on holding onto Australia. These govns should just do what the Spanish, the Portuguese and the British did , just go home and give the land back to the native! BTW, China is not my government! I don't live there I don't even speak Chinese! there you go!

  • @qwertyyau - Just pointing out = nice that in your upper post you agree with me that China and Tibet are separate countries ... an improvement xD If you insist to continue please explain - what gain does china get in holding tibet as a part of its own? if they want it so much and couse so much trouble over it - and its all good wishes and kisses from chinas side - why not let em? what do your goverment actually GAIN in holding a whole country for randsom? thats what interests me

  • @MrIcePlaysSound I get annoyed by ppl whose knowledge on countries like China and North Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tibet etc etc are fed to them from the Western media and govs! You won't understand a country and its people well enough until you can speak its language and understands their history.

  • @qwertyyau this already has no realation to our discussion in the first place - if youre just looking for a friendly chat youre welcome to message me personaly - if you just want to be RIGHT - just dont bother

  • @MrIcePlaysSound any "western propoganda" was highly punishable offence. gee what year were you in, not the same year McCarthy was doing his witch hunt for anyone who simply likes the colour Red!

  • @qwertyyau so from personal experience i can tell you - i know how your countrys system works. Im not saying western system is better - not at all - they both are rotten to the core and in both there is way more than u can see with plain eye. Same to be said about ANY current goverment around the globe - Communism Capitalism Monarchy Dictatorship or Democracy - all built on good wishes. But sad true is that all of them still fail to basic human instinct - carving for power over fellow humen
