Exactly right,Toothless tigers that would be us (Sag )."The only thing worse tthan a strike is a contract we can't live with "I cant live with the one they want us to sign can you ?

And so we're all clear on this timeline here--the Screen Actors Guild Members will FINALLY have their chance to have a say in their lives and futures, and right now the Contract they are trying to force on us, is being pushed through by corrupt Members of our own Board--with illegal conflicts of interest rooted in greed. VOTE NO WHEN IT COMES GUYS, WE CAN GET WHAT WE NEED WITHOUT A STRIKE. THIS IS THE FIRST STEP. VOTE NO, AND FORCE THEM BACK TO THE BARGAINING TABLE TREATING US LIKE HUMAN BEINGS

My God, I'm in love.
I think the hardworking folks out here surrounding all of these people making them look great ARE pretty fed up with the GREED MACHINE. We deserve a future and health care and a pension too, even if we're not rich and morally corrupt. Email all of your friends SAG Actors! We have to vote--less than a third of us voted last time and they stole millions of dollars from the poor Members twice before. Let's show them that WE have the final say here. PLEASE VOTE. VOTE NO.

These stars are producers. A conflict of interest. They should not be able to vote on the contracts. Fear of losing their deals or studio pressure to void their deals is what's at stake for them. DeVito @ Sony, Clooney @ Warners. They couldn't give a flippin' damn about the "guest star/co-star" actors needed to fill the roster on their shows/films. It's simple, a fair percentage needs to be decided on future new media profits but producers do not want this. A % of 0 is 0, so there is no risk.

Vote YES on a strike authorization. Wake up SAG actors. Start knowing what's at stake. This is not "brain surgery" !!

The passion, and logic, and intelligence, of an actor! Good for you, for putting out these points. With such "organic" expression! I thank you for speaking your mind, especially in a business that really doesn't welcome that!
The issues are what should be publicized, not all the drama/gossip that the press has focused on...
I am putting this on my blog, at Hollywood Actor Prep.
Thanks.

No, the most outspoken member of the AMPTP is Peter Chernin, and he has pledged to end Malaria! End Malaria, and starve the actors and no health care, no pay!
Great video on what is really all about, thank you.
