From "Songlines Live" DVD in Chicago. The DTB make a seamless transition from the Indian classical-flavored "Mahjoun" to an incredible jazz performance of the traditional Christmas song "Greensleeves." Every time I watch this I imagine them playing this on the Super Bowl Halftime Show...

I agree. I love DT's songs up to that point, but Already Free has to be my favorite album (although Sahib Teri Bandi is still my favorite song). It's refreshing to hear that someone who's been at this as long as DT is still willing to reinvent himself as he feels he needs to

  • i just want to thank whoever posted this...i lost my dvd of this and have been looking for this song forever!

  • I like StoneFree000's comment....very much like art. But I love seeing him move away from that with his new album, anyone know what I mean? I bet with 99.99% confidence that his next album-that is, the one after "Already Free," is going to be a killer super combo of form and function.

  • @koreankayagum : You are soooo right, thank god for this.....and the Derek Trucks Band......they're freakin' awesome....Yngwie?....Ohhh you must mean that Viking-Ego-shredder;)....nah not interesting at all...but hey, that's just MO.

  • You're totally right.
