Sales of the 2011 Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid are scheduled to begin in August.

Inside Line says: A 122-horsepower sport coupe with a torsion-beam rear end? Doesn't sound very sporty to us.

  • k20 swap please!

  • If you're hoping Honda will bring out an affordable entry-level performance FWD car, you better wait another 10 years or stick to those Civic SI's. Honda's taking a new direction. It's time to look at some better car makers that care about performance people. The future of real FWD performance (i hate to say it) only exists by Ford in Europe. Honda dropped the ball in 2000-2001 and are never getting it back.

  • The si did 24 mpg combined while my crz does 36 mpg combined

  • @Niche79 the si gets 21mpg in the city and about 29 highway... so your a little off.

  • @justinRkeaton

word is Honda didn't offer a backseat in the US version due to US safety requirements regarding anti-whiplash headrests, which of course- would seriously hamper what little rear visibility currently exists and I should know - as I have one - love it btw.

  • throw the now defunct S2000 engine in this thing, and Honda has the car of the year.

  • umm this crap with no good gas mileage or a normal sized car that pushes low 30mpg range....uhh Normal car please!!!! Hell even a Civic Si Destroys this thing and does at 30mpg stock.....so sad Honda is shit now a days

  • @0guiteo Me thinks you should add that little bit of power. Power is so easily added these days that I hardly worry if a car is underpowered like this.

  • It is a cross between the first generation Insight I traded in and the S2000 I wanted. It drives like a dream, but lacks the HP of the S2000. I've owned it for 3 weeks and have 1600 miles so far. The manual transmission is as smooth as my wife's TL type S.

  • @ThugWafle i think you gotta be a crx fan to love it! and its bad ass

  • WTF? no back seat in the USA? thats bull shit, i was sold on one untill i heard that, i been watching the japan videos showing a back seat, guess ill have to prder one from japan!

  • @ImTheBestAtStuff

I paid $22,100 for an EX CVT without NAV. LOVE THIS CAR!! Don't miss my Cooper S at all.
