@scholarmark if you're talking about those craps in Walmart and elsewhere, then of course they're of lesser quality; this is because most foreign importers wanted them just like that for the insanely low price while maintaining the bare minimum in terms of quality. If you want quality stuff, China can certainly make it but only for a price. Ask Apple, the iPhone 4 is literally a piece of art and it's made in China.

@sealobo China is too much in a hurry for money in almost everything. It is not even capable and willing to put in this much effort on accuracy and precision. Just look at the toys and models produced in China. They may look the same as their kins produced elsewhere, but draw a closer look and you will find its mould is way rougher than Japanese and Taiwanese or even Indian or South American counterparts.
