  • I don't like the sound of adding tape to a new expensive lens. Not acceptable is it really.

  • *shrugs* It's just a lens.

  • @Lilkiwiguy87 LOL a part of me agrees and a part of me says: "you wouldn't duck tape a broken part on a Lamborghini"

    =) Oh well, hopefully Nikon has learned from this.

  • @Lenmil

    Sorry forgot to say thank you for the information. Great videos.

  • phew! my heart almost stopped while doing this test repeating "dont be affected, dont be affected!" during the 5 second exposure!! UNAFFECTED!! :) ill be sure to do as you say from now on and let my lens acclimate before using it! thanks!

  • thanks you Likiwiguy87. Great worksss. i wish i'll buy 24-70 2.8 in the future ::D:D:D

  • Whew! my lens was not affected either, even though I have submitted it to strong temperature changes ( I live in Mexico ) from cold (air conditioned) to hot (street) temps, but I will be much more careful about this now. Thanks for your info, great video as usual.

  • Great work. Glad to know my copy hasn't been affected. *thumbs up*.
