This is me performing at the Magic Castle on July 9th, 2011. I had a blast and learned a lot of things on my first day of brunch shows, it was an amazing experience! This video was my second performance out of the five shows that I did that day, I got to perform for many different types of audiences and along the way I learned one of the most valuable aspects of close up magic;audience interaction. On my fifth show, I got to perform for a young actor who also appeared on movies and tv commercials, this was truly one of the best performing opportunities for me, sharing magic with people around the world and seeing them smile, laugh and having a good time is the reason why I love magic so much. Thank you for watching everyone!

  • I could not stop smiling while watching his show!

  • @bamby1561 Thank you very much Bam for your kind compliment. I can't stop smiling as well after I read your comment, really do means a lot to me:)

  • Performing at the Magic Castle at that age is an achievement in itself.. Great show pete. :P

PS - @09:27 (you probably know this already )Tip : I have noticed how some magicians try to avoid that situation completely by saying things like " Can you see these corner??(bring the cards in close proximity) Yes? Very good." and move the hand immediately away from them and taking the conversation towards the crowd again. Now the audience has met your eye contact, the subject is forced to co-operate.

  • @wazzee Thank you very much for watching and the feedback, I really appreciate it! But in my presentation, I would rather mention the little red dot and let the spectator examine very closely because that adds a little bit of comedy to it and the red card appearing will become a bigger surprise.

  • You did an amazing job! Close up magic is always so much fun in my opinion. You can truly get the experience of the audience vs doing so many stage tricks. You definitely have a great road ahead of you.

If I can ever figure out how to load videos on youtube, I hope to get some feedback from you as well. Take care bro!

  • @MagicBr80 Thank you very much my friend, your comment really means a lot to me. I agree with you, to me, close up magic is the most entertaining type of magic and looks as close to real magic as it gets. Sure thing, I'll be glad to give feedback on your videos!
