On January 20, 2010, Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher—competing to be the Democrats nominee for the U.S. Senate Seat being vacated by Republican George Voinovich—came together at a Candidates Forum hosted by the Hamilton County Democratic Womens Caucus, Hamilton County Democratic Party, and Hamilton County Democratic Forum. This is the first primary event at which Brunner and Fisher have appeared together, and the organizers of the event made great effort to let everyone know that it was not a debate.
Questions asked and answered in this video:
- Brunner: What will you do about climate change?
- Fisher: What will you do about climate change?
- Brunner: What is your opinion of how the Guantanamo detainees should be adjudicated or do you think they should be detained indefinitely?
- Fisher: Do you support immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship?
- Brunner: Do you support immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship?
