I saw an interview with Marty Stuart years ago, where he said that Connie Smith was signing records at a store. Marty was a little kid and a fan; his mother took him to meet Connie and have her autograph his record. On the drive home he told his mother that he was going to grow up and marry Connie Smith. His mom chuckled.
Then Marty Stuart grew up and married Connie Smith. :D
