A primer is a MUST. I have a wonderful primer, and it makes my skin look close-to-flawless before I even really start. Moisturizer is also REALLY important-- The skin under your eyes screams for moisture. You can never over-moisturize under your eyes (: Good video

Woo great tips Myles, you make it soo much simpler :). I really need to start wearing blush or something to outline my cheekbones, every time I go to the hairdressers they keep telling me I got great cheekbones and can do pretty much anything with my hair. My only problem is finding the right shade with my pale skin and red hair as anything dark looks horrid on my pale skin!
Mineral is not fad.. it has been around since antiquity; if you want to get technical; your non-mineral, talc-based makeup is created with fillers that can clog pores and then breed bacteria. Pure mineral makeup is the only makeup that is used and promoted by dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons. I think I have more faith in a professional with ten years education as opposed to a self-taught teenager.

The reason your talc-based cosmetic companies want to perpetuate the myth that mineral is a fad is because it would cost them far too much to switch to mineral themselves and their profit margins on talc-based products is much higher as they are very inexpensive to manufacture.
