iDesign: design for life.
A wide ranging celebration and discussion forum for all aspects of digital and interactive media and how they are increasingly influencing our daily lives.

We had a day packed with discovery and debate, and it is to this end that we invited speakers from as many inter-related disciplines as we could in order to bring their perspectives to the discussion.

There was a great deal of audience participation encouraged by the short presentations and chaired debates format of the day. In this way as many complimentary (and conflicting)as is possible viewpoints were given in a short a space of time.

In the foyer, during coffee and lunch breaks, presentations took place arranged with the help of Cybersalon and Future Sound. These opened our minds still further to the broader concerns of digital media beyond the confines of the internet we are all familiar with.

iDesign: design for life was organised by dynamo london and NMK, with funding from LDA. We're proud to be the principle representatives of the digital media industries at the London Design Festival 2007, the first time such a focus has been included this way.
