@toddshindler i believe that bball is based more on skill than race. im sorry soccer, tennis. swimming isnt as popular among black ppl. but as a blk person i do ask that u dont generalize a race of ppl.

My heartbreaks for the parents of these young men because as a parent you do everything you can to raise your kids right and hope that when they are old enough to stand on their own they make their parents proud. However, these young men have shamed themselves, their families and the University. Even if they dont go to jail they should be kicked off the team indefinitely until they can prove they can be trusted again. Look at Bruce's face he is thoroughly disappointed but he is handling it right

I was right you sound like your in grade school. Is that the sound you make after you can't get it up???

Lil Wayne doesn't own any Record companies or T.V. station or Magazines so how is he at fault
What about the People who own these companies and DR King wasnt any perfect Angel
Lil Wayne he's is playing a role just like Tony Soprano,

well i think Bruce handled that well.

let them play the football team does!!!
Yes Lil Wayne is playing a role, he's glorifying crack cocaine and the thug lifestyle. I'm for freedom of speech but obviously Lil Wayne's audience is too stupid to realize that lifestyle is a dead end with too many victims too count.
Yes MLK had flaws, but his accomplishments far outweighed any of them. He strove to be a positive force on the community.
It's a shame, these guys had a real opportunity, but it's probably gone, life doesn't always offer a second chance.

Sorry, I blame Lil Wayne and the "gangsta" mentality that is pumped into Afro-American youth. These kids were afforded an opportunity that few get. I'm sure Dr. King would be proud of how they squandered it. If it was just the weed, I could get over it with suspensions, but the weapons are something else. I'm tired of seeing potential "professional" athletes act like thugs, grow up, pimpin isn't something one should aspire to.
